Oppo has just announced the presence of their newest foldable cellphone in China, namely the Oppo Find N2 and Find N2 Flip. The Find N2 is the successor to the first generation, while the Find N2 Flip is a new, more compact model.
Oppo Find N2 is the lightest horizontal folding phone, weighing 30 grams lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. Meanwhile, Oppo Find N2 Flip offers an external screen that is twice as large as the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4.
Specifications of Oppo Find N2
Oppo Find N2 has a folding design like a book, with two screens on the inside and outside. The inner screen measures 7.1 inches with an AMOLED LTPO panel that has a resolution of 1920 x 1792 and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The outer screen measures 5.54 inches with Full HD + resolution.
The overall dimensions are 132.2 x 72.6 x 14.6mm when folded and weighs 237 grams. Apart from being the lightest, the Oppo Find N2 is also relatively thin for similar folding phones, including thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It has a battery capacity of 4,520mAh which supports 67W fast charging.
Oppo Find N2 carries a camera configuration on the back with a 50MP main sensor from Sony IMX890, coupled with a 48MP ultra-wide and 32MP telephoto sensor that offers 2x optical zoom. Meanwhile, there are two selfie cameras, each of which is embedded in the internal and external screens.
Oppo Find N2 Flip specifications
This is the first generation of the Flip model from Oppo. Having a clamshell model, the Oppo Find N2 Flip also has two screens. The inner screen measures 6.8 inches with an AMOLED panel and Full HD + resolution, while the front is 2.26 inches with an OLED panel with a resolution of 720p.
The overall dimensions are 166.2 x 75.2 x 7.45mm and it weighs 191 grams. The chipset used is the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ which is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Regarding the camera, on the back of this device there is a 50MP main sensor, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front, there is a 32MP resolution selfie camera embedded in the internal screen. Find N2 and Find N2 Flip both carry the MariSilicon X chip to improve the quality of their photography.
The battery has a capacity of 4,300mAh which supports 44W fast charging.
The new Oppo Find N2 Flip model will be released globally
Oppo has confirmed that the Flip model will be launched globally in the near future, which means that the Oppo Find N2 Flip will compete directly with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. The color options are Black, Purple and Gold.
